Things to Do in Northern Arizona

A vast majority of the people who visit northern Arizona each year do so to see the Grand Canyon. While that is definitely a sight worth seeing, the northern part of the state has other things to offer savvy tourists.

There is no denying that taking a Papillon Grand Canyon excursion — or one of the other tours offered at the Canyon — will provide visitors with stunning views and a sense of the majesty of the natural world. Anyone who has never visited it should definitely consider adding a stop at the Canyon to their itinerary.

Nearby Flagstaff and Sedona are also popular destinations for visitors to Arizona. Flagstaff is a university town surrounded by mountain forests. Sedona has breathtaking views of its own. It is home to dozens of red rock formations that have attracted artists and tourists for over a hundred years. The area also appeals to those who want to explore the reported energy vortexes around Sedona.

Monument Valley is located on the northern border of Arizona with part of it spilling into Utah. The sandstone buttes of the Valley are iconic symbols of the American Southwest and have appeared in movies and artwork for generations.

Lake Mead , Williams and Meteor Crater are other attractions in Northern Arizona that are worth a visit.
